These sessions focus on those classic, serene poses that capture the innocence and delicacy of your newborn. We’ll work with your baby to create stunning, artistically composed images that showcase their perfect little features.

In-Studio Lifestyle Sessions

For a more natural, documentary style, our in-studio lifestyle sessions capture the connection between your baby and family in a relaxed, candid environment. These sessions take place in our beautiful, purpose-built studio, where we create soft, intimate moments that feel organic and genuine while still capturing the beauty of your baby in a lovely, styled setting.

Combination of Both

For clients who want the best of both worlds, we offer a hybrid session that blends posed shots with in-studio lifestyle moments, allowing you to have a beautifully balanced gallery of images.

All of our newborn sessions take place in-studio, where we’ve carefully designed the space to make both you and your baby feel comfortable. Our studio is equipped with everything we need to ensure the best experience for you and your little one, so you can sit back and relax while we take care of the details.

Wardrobe Provided for Parents and Children

We understand that preparing for a newborn session can feel overwhelming, so we provide all wardrobe for both parents and children. You won’t need to worry about finding the perfect outfits or matching colors—our curated selection of clothing, wraps, hats, and props are specifically chosen to photograph beautifully and ensure a cohesive aesthetic. This allows you to simply focus on enjoying the session and spending time with your new baby.

Session Duration and Pre-Session Consultation

Newborn sessions typically last around 3 hours, allowing us to go at a relaxed pace and ensure your baby’s comfort throughout the process. Since newborn photography involves a lot of preparation and attention to detail, we recommend that clients book a portrait consultation prior to their session. During this consultation, we’ll go over everything you need to know, including styling, session flow, and what to expect. We highly encourage this consultation, especially for first-time parents, as it’s the perfect opportunity to address any questions or concerns before your baby arrives.

If you’ve already had your baby and didn’t have the chance to schedule a consultation, don’t worry! We can still accommodate you within the 7-10 day window if we’re able to fit you into the schedule. If your baby is a little older, we also offer 0-3 month newborn sessions, which, while slightly different from traditional newborn photography, are still beautifully styled and will provide you with stunning portraits of your baby during their early months.

Newborn Pricing

At Millyard Studios, we believe that your newborn’s portraits should be a beautiful and timeless investment. Our session fee of $300 includes the photographer’s time and talent, the use of our studio, all props, wraps, hats, headbands, and wardrobe for both parents and children—everything you need for a seamless, stress-free session.

After your session, we invite you to return to the studio about a week later to view and order your artwork and images. During this time, you’ll be able to see your beautiful portraits and choose the images you’d like to display in your home. For every print you order, you’ll also receive the corresponding digital image, allowing you to share your memories with family and friends.

We design our images to be enjoyed on your walls, printed in albums, or stored in a beautiful memory box. Our collections range from $500 to $2500+, with options to fit your needs and vision. There’s no minimum purchase requirement, so you’re free to order as many or as few images as you like. Prints start at $100, allowing you to choose the perfect artwork for your home, whether it’s a stunning framed portrait or a custom album.
