The Session

Our first birthday sessions are approximately 45 minutes long, giving us plenty of time to capture all the excitement of your little one’s big day. From their first taste of cake to the sweet smiles and playful expressions, we’ll make sure every moment is preserved beautifully.

Cake, Wardrobe, and Props

We provide everything you need to make this session extra special! The giant balloon setup and custom cake will add a fun, whimsical touch to the photos, and we also offer a selection of adorable wardrobe options for your baby, ensuring they look their best for this big occasion. Along with the cake, we’ll incorporate props that enhance the fun, creating a memorable and celebratory atmosphere.

Fun & Playful Experience

This session is designed to be playful, relaxed, and full of joy. We want your little one to feel comfortable and have fun during their session, capturing genuine, candid moments. Whether it’s cake smashing, laughing, or simply enjoying the day, we ensure the experience is enjoyable for both you and your baby.

The session lasts approximately 45 minutes, giving us plenty of time to capture your baby’s expressions, cake-smashing fun, and those heartwarming moments. After your session, we’ll invite you back to the studio in about a week to view your images and select the ones you love.

First Birthday Pricing

At Millyard Studios, we believe that your baby’s portraits should be a beautiful and timeless investment. Our session fee of $300 includes the photographer’s time and talent, the use of our studio, all props, hats, headbands, and wardrobe for baby, cake and balloon—everything you need for a seamless, stress-free session.

After your session, we invite you to return to the studio about a week later to view and order your artwork and images. During this session, you’ll be able to see your beautiful portraits and choose the images you’d like to display in your home. For every print you order, you’ll also receive the corresponding digital image, allowing you to share your memories with family and friends.

We design our images to be enjoyed on your walls, printed in albums, or stored in a beautiful memory box. Our collections range from $500 to $2500+, with options to fit your needs and vision. There’s no minimum purchase requirement, so you’re free to order as many or as few images as you like. Prints start at $100, allowing you to choose the perfect artwork for your home, whether it’s a stunning framed portrait or a custom album.
