It’s the personal touches that a couple adds to their wedding day that makes it truly unique and special. For Greta and Tom I would have to say their details were all about celebrating family- past, present and future. Photos of Tom, Greta and her son were spread throughout the rooms of Stevens Estate in North Andover, MA where their wedding was held. Along with that you could find little reminders of family members that where celebrating in spirit. My personal favorite being the pair of pink flamingos that sat on the edge of the garden as a nod to the father of the bride’s favorite lawn ornament. It was also a special day for Greta’s niece as it was her first birthday! Not missing the perfect opportunity for cute photos (and cake!) we were sure to capture the little sweetie as she had her first taste of birthday cake!
The day’s events were as beautiful and elegant as you would expect from a historic, estate wedding. Their garden reception was filled with love, laughter, lots of dancing and even a little ice cream. Greta had shared that in her family, they have ice cream every day so it was only fitting to forgo the traditional wedding cake for an ice cream bar.
We were honored and happy to be a part of this beautiful wedding. Cheers to Greta and Tom! Here’s to great ice cream and happy family memories for years to come!
