When I met up with Jillian and A.J. last year for their engagement session I knew pretty quickly that we were going to get along great! They brought a bicycle to their session and they were totally cool with the my (maybe) half baked, and possibly dangerous idea of Jillian balancing on the handle bars as A.J. rode full speed down the path! No one got hurt, promise! We had tons of fun that evening and of course got some great photos! (Just check our website!)
Fast forward to their wedding day… It was as fun and beautiful as I knew it would be! We started the day at the Residence Inn in Portsmouth, NH where everyone got ready and where we held their first look. I loved Jillian’s sweet expression when she saw A.J. for the first time and the way he looked at her was swoon worthy! After that everyone hopped onto the trolley to Great Island Common in New Castle, NH for their portraits. The sunlight was amazing, Jillian’s cathedral-length vale caught the breeze just so and it was perfection!
After their touching ceremony at St. Theresa’s Parish in Rye we stepped outside to the most dramatic fog and I just new we were in for some epic evening portraits at Abenaqui Country Club. The night only got better from there! This crazy group kicked off an amazing dance party with a father daughter dance that had a surprise ending. Jillian and her dad threw it all the way back to 1991 with some sweet line dancing to “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.” Once her bridesmaid’s joined in, there was no turning back! Needless to say it was a fun night had by all!
I’m so happy to have been a part of Jillian and A.J.’s day! What a great couple and great group of family and friends!
Cheers and thanks for having us!
